All of our dogs are in wonderful foster homes waiting to be adopted. We recommend reviewing Fawn's Adoption Process before you complete your application.

Adopting a dog affects everyone in your household, before you apply make sure everyone is excited and ready to care for a new family member.

Important: Due to the length of the adoption application, we recommend filling it out on a computer instead of a mobile device.

Due to the volume of applications we can't follow up with everyone who applies. Check the Fawn's website and social media for status updates on dogs you are interested in.

Trip is around 10 weeks old, he is mostly black and likely a Shih Tzu and Mini Poodle mix. He has received his first and second round of puppy shots. Like all Fawn's puppies, Trip's adoption contract includes a spay/neuter addendum. His adoption donation includes a refundable $100 deposit, which is returned after we receive the confirmation of his neutering surgery.

Trip is a sweet and feisty boy who loves kisses and belly rubs. Trip is as playful as he is persistent. He was born with underdeveloped knee joints, within 3 weeks his back legs caught up and he was playing with his siblings.

Trip and his siblings are typical puppies who love to play with each other and toys! They are working on house training and are learning about potty pads. They are teething, which means they are in their their raptor phase and will attempt to chew on whatever they can get their little mouths on. This includes nibbling, chomping, and chewing on people, toys, and potty pads - which is why they have reusable cloth pads instead of disposable ones. Trip adores his foster cat sibling and tries to play with them. His kitty can give him kisses and even groom him though the grooming is mostly reserved for when he gets too sassy and needs to be calmed down. His foster cat is dog/puppy savvy and has socialized many prior fosters. Cats without puppy experience may not enjoy Trip's playful persistence. Momma dog, Starr, is 8.8 lbs, most of the dogs from the hoarding case are 11 lbs and below. We don't know who daddy dog is so it's unclear what size these puppies could be as adults. We checked a few online weight calculators to get a better estimate, the puppies should be 20 lbs or less as adults. They may also stay similarly petite to Mama Starr. Trip and his siblings require adopters who are committed to continuing their training to ensure they become good doggie citizens when they grow up. Trip in particular has started jumping for attention. Trip's ideal home would include a doggie sibling, who likes to play and has the maturity to correct Trip as needed. Yards are always helpful for puppies and potty training. Older dogs, and cats without puppy experience, may not enjoy Trip's level of energy and persistence.
