Join Fawn's in giving a royal welcome to Queen! Queen is about 16 months old and 11 lbs, she is an Australian Terrier mix. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative.
Queen was originally a puppy someone bought for a family member. Unfortunately, the person did not check to see if the living space allowed pets... so Queen was unable to go to her intended home. For the last year she was living on a porch in a kennel.
Queen is out of her porch kennel and in a foster home! This sweet low-riders is full of energy. Her foster siblings, big and small, are teaching her how to play. Due to her energy levels, Queen has shown a preference for playing with her larger fur-siblings, however her smaller fur-siblings are older. She is enjoying playing with toys.
Queen loves her people, she will grab a toy and shadow you around the house. She loves to sleep in the big bed at night. She is doing great with potty training, no accidents so far, as well as harness and leash training.
She is dog and cat friendly. While not a hard requirement, we believe Queen would be most successful in a home that includes a confident fur-sibling who can lead by example and be her playmate. She would be fine with a dog her size or larger.
When Queen gets excited she tends to jump and can be a little mouthy. For this reason, we are recommending that she goes to a home with adults or dog-savvy older children.
All of our dogs are in wonderful foster homes waiting to be adopted. We recommend reviewing Fawn's Adoption Process before you complete your application.
