Biddy is a SPECIAL NEEDS dog! She is 3 years and 11lbs. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She is heart worm positive and receiving slow-kill treatment. Her adopter will be provided with the medication to continue her treatment.
Before she came to Fawn's Biddy spent most of her life outside. She is still working on house training, but making good progress.
Biddy is lovely lady who is skittish and shy. While she is timid, Biddy has good leash manners and loves other dogs. She is an excellent pack dog and gets a lot of confidence from having fur-siblings. They help her adapt and thrive in her environment. This will be a requirement for her adoption.
Biddy has started to jump onto the bed when she wants to cuddle. Despite this improvement, Biddy struggles with eye contact and will often walk away if you look at her. Biddy is an extreme flight risk and will need a secure fenced yard.
As a special needs dog, Biddy has specific requirements for her fur-ever home. She must go to a quiet home with patient people that understand skittish dogs. Her new home must have several dogs to help her feel safe.
Biddy came to us from Clay County Animal Services. She was found as a stray running with several other dogs.
