About us

Who we are:

Fawn's Small Dog Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Northeast Florida. The rescue was established in 2014 in memory of a little red miniature pincher named Fawn. She was rescued from a puppy mill and shivered her way into the lives and hearts of the rescue's founding family. She was a true inspiration to all that knew her. She sadly lost her battle with diabetes at the age of 12.

Our Mission:

We are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in over crowded kill shelters.  We rescue and improve the quality of life for stray, abused and forgotten dogs in Florida.  Our rescued dogs are placed with caring foster families until we find them a qualified permanent loving home.  All dogs receive complete veterinary care, socialization, compassion, guidance, nourishment and rehabilitation while they are in Fawn's Foster Program.  We believe every dogs broken spirit can be mended.

All dogs are spay/neutered before being placed in permanent homes. They are current on rabies, boosters, bordetella, heartworm tested, dewormed and micro chipped. All dogs receive monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We also hope to help educate the public on spay/neutering, pet overpopulation and proper animal care.

Our Wish:

For every animal to only know a warm gentle touch and a safe loving home!

    Beloved Fawn
